Alts. They’re an unavoidable part of the fabric of MMOs, especially considering how these games are designed to make you want to keep going on the same ride again and again with a different flavor. It’s always easy to hit that “create new character” button and get that fresh experience that hits so good.
But we’re not all the same when it comes to alts. Some of us are resolute Mainers, rolling one and only one character for life as if there’s a death pact involved. Others dabble in the Alt Arts, creating an experimental character here and there. And then much farther along on the spectrum are those who deliberately test the maximum character slots available. On all servers.
