Sony’s dead team shooter Concord lives on in Amazon’s Secret Level anthology

It’s been an exceptionally strange past month for fans of Sony’s team-based FPS Concord. The title launched late August as a possible rival to the Overwatch franchise, but saw low engagement and middling reviews. Almost immediately thereafter, Sony announced that it was killing the game on September 6th, meaning that Concord lived an inglorious two weeks in total.

Yet this sure-to-be-forgotten title is getting one last lease on life: Amazon is including the title in its upcoming Secret Level series. This anthology of 15 short stories touches on various video games, including Mega Man and Unreal Tournament.

When Secret Level arrives on December 10th, it’ll be interesting to see if there is some head-scratching at the inclusion of a very short-lived title that nobody recalls.
