When I think back to the computing and gaming era of the late ’90s and early 2000s, I feel a sense of appreciation from having gone through it and a true sense of loss knowing that we’ll never get that unique feeling back.

Were you there? Do you miss the wild unknowns of the early MMO era, or perhaps the discovery period of your initial steps into this genre?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
