While it was probably never in doubt to most gamers interested in the title, Lineage 2 Revolution has been officially confirmed to launch later this year in the west.
The mobile MMORPG recently launched across 11 Asian countries on June 13th and has topped the charts in many of them ever since. It’s now the top-grossing mobile game for Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, and Macau.
Lineage 2 Revolution initially released in Korea late last year, where it raked in $176 million in the first month of live operation. It held a six-month streak as the top-grossing title on Korea’s mobile charts.
A North American version is specifically in development for sometime in 2017. The mobile MMO will be available for both iOS and Android on the App Store and Google Play.
