If you need a new Kickstarter MMO to follow, Socuwan may be worth a look. A self-described “quirky indie” title for Windows, Mac, and Linux and the brainchild of a single coder, Socuwan is player-driven both in terms of its gameplay and its development, with nearly three quarters of its content “made by the community.”

“Combat, and especially PvP,” is the core of the game. It’s real-time, skill-based, and uses an attack charging system that avoids mana and cool-downs. How exactly does that work? Check out an 11-minute video after the cut for more details.
