The Daily Grind: Have you ever dreamed about an MMO?

Over and over.

At least two or three times a year, I have the World of Warcraft expansion dream. It’s usually really nice. There are new systems in this new expansion, which has a title I can’t recall. It features a lot of the aesthetics I like. It’s not about beating up the latest super-powerful maniac to threaten the world. There is crumbling stonemasonry and world-building. Then I wake up and remember that’s not the case at all, and I get a bit sad that it’s all just a dream.

It is entirely possible that I am alone in these dreams and other people don’t spend time in their unconscious minds formulating games and expansions which do not exist. But maybe I’m not alone. To be clear, though, I’m not talking about speculation here; I am talking about actual dreams, falling unconscious and then having a lengthy dream about Secret World Legends or whatever. So have you ever dreamed about an MMO?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
