Ankama kicks off events and tournaments across its MMOs during its weekend-long convention

Ankama, known around these parts for MMOs like Waven, Dofus, and Wakfu, is hosting its own convention this weekend in Tourcoing, France, which naturally means its stable of games is going to be joining in on the celebration.

Waven is arguably the biggest benefactor of the convention, as the party mood is being extended through the Trool Fair season that runs from now until September 24th, featuring three carnival-style activities and a thematically appropriate battle pass. The game will also be represented in the convention proper with a PvP tournament and there’s also a promo code players can redeem for in-game goodies.

Dofus will be represented at the convention in its own PvP tournament but will otherwise be heralding its 20th anniversary, the celebrations of which begin in-game in September with a free gift every day of the month.

Finally, Wakfu’s convention presence starts with special events that revolve around July’s Necroworld update with a single-player challenge and a Necropass quest that hand out unique rewards. Ankama is also promising announcements for upcoming updates to Wakfu during a special broadcast on August 31st, with a summary article to come shortly afterward.
