Firefall is adding auxiliary weapon slots, equipment slots, and more

Firefall’s latest dev blog discusses upcoming changes to the game’s itemization and player equipment slots. Red 5’s overarching goal is to enhance the effect of player choice when selecting battleframes and equipment, with an eye toward giving players “more control over builds and favored statistics.”

The dev team is replacing battleframe cores with five new primary equipment slots: head, torso, arms, legs, and reactor. These different slots contribute to the batteframe’s total health, power, etc. The team is also adding secondary equipment slots as well as a third weapon slot!
