Corporate acquisitions take a while, but Activision Blizzard has completed its acquisition of King Digital Entertainment, a deal which was first announced back in November. The acquisition involved quite a bit of money changing hands for the now-independent developer to acquire full rights to the Candy Crush development studio.

Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, stated that the company will be looking to use the combined network of both companies to reach hundreds of millions of gamers across the world.
