The Daily Grind: What MMO has offered you the best customer service?

Hey, it's okay.

I have had three separate Final Fantasy XI accounts over the years, and because of the way in which those accounts work, it is remarkably easy to lose the login information. The result is that I have had to call Square-Enix customer support on multiple occasions for exactly that. Every single time I’ve done so, the people on the other end have been helpful and polite, and I’ve always walked away from the experience being very impressed.

Heck, I did so just a few minutes ago as I type this, and after getting all of my information the representative made sure I was aware that console service had been discontinued and offered to help me migrate to PC if necessary. That was just plain polite.

We hear a lot about customer service nightmares and not nearly enough about support that goes above and beyond the call of duty. I’ve had some truly awful support experiences as well, but I’ve both seen people go above and beyond and heard stories of it from Guild Wars 2 to Star Trek Online. So let’s share the love, shall we? What MMO has offered you the absolute best customer service?
