Just what the heck is DokeV? We’re still not entirely sure yet — Pearl Abyss calls it a “creature-collecting open world MMO” but it looks like Korean Splatoon — but at least we’ve gotten some pretty new images to look at and some K-pop goodness to bop along to. That’s something, right? Don’t worry about content and enjoy the neon goodness!
There truly is some neon goodness to look at on the DokeV website, with a look at the urban environment of the game in both day and night. The night scene is actually video from within the game environment, granting us a first look at the colorful world this game takes place in.
For even more flavor, the folks at Pearl Abyss are also sharing a lyric video of the MMO’s full theme song “ROCKSTAR,” which comes courtesy of K-pop group GALACTIKA *, so just in case the bright colors didn’t give you an idea of this game’s tone, the K-pop certainly will.
