If you ask me, you can never have enough cute in your MMORPG diet, so at least from a visual standpoint consider me passing curious about Tales of Wind, a mobile MMORPG that has recently announced plans to make its way to PC on Thursday, January 2nd.
According to the announcement, the game will require a mere 2GB of space for practically every feature that’s in the mobile version except for Share, Voice Messaging, and Karaoke (there’s karaoke in this game?!). The post also mentions that the PC version is still under development, meaning it can only be installed on Windows for now, which seems to suggest that a Mac version is in the works.
Tales of Wind touts itself as “an action MMORPG with cute characters and soothing experience,” inviting players to explore the land of La Place, defeat powerful monsters, trap them in Soul Cards, and transform into them in battle. Players can also take part in minigames like racing, shooting, and trivia, and there’s also in-game marriage options, guild vs. guild, and PvP gameplay. It is, however, a free-to-play game with microtransactions, many of which have been deemed pay-to-win by players on Reddit.
