There’s an adage in the movie business that actors gravitate to a good villain role over the hero because they’re often written with more vibrancy and are more fun to play. Think Alan Rickman in Die Hard or Jim Carrey in Sonic the Hedgehog. It’s not a stretch in our entertainment venues that really great villains can develop their own fanbases.
So what about MMORPGs? There are scads and scads of baddies out there, although only a few truly rise up to become legends in our memories. Those are the ones I want us to talk about today, the MMO bosses that we love to hate (but secretly love anyway). It could be a good quote, a difficult encounter, or a zesty personality.
