No Man’s Sky rounds out a busy 2023 with expedition and cartographer ‘remixes’

You can’t take the sky from No Man’s Sky because it’s in the title and because that game owns outer space in a way that most persistent worlds would dream to do. And to wrap up a very busy season for the space sim, Hello Games is bringing back several expeditions and cartographers to allow players to catch up on associated rewards.

Additionally, the studio announced that this month’s patch added a left-handed mode for virtual reality devices, which, as a lefty myself, I think is a noble project indeed.

Hello Games recapped the year, saying, “2023 saw another packed year of continuing to expand the engine and content of No Man’s Sky, launching on two new platforms and releasing three major updates, as well as releasing a regular stream of patches, improvements and community events.”

So what’s on tap for 2024? Hello Games said that the team is “hard at work creating new content and features” but isn’t telling what those are — yet.
