MMORPGs have an impossible problem: If they patch whenever they can – big patches, small patches, whatever is finished and ready to go – then they have no pattern. They seem scattershot and messy and undependable. But if they patch on a regular cadence like clockwork, they get a little too predictable, and we take them for granted. How do they split the difference? Well, I’ll tell you as soon as somebody does it well!

In the meantime, let’s talk about the predictable ones. What’s the most predictable MMORPG? Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
