ARPG Last Epoch shifts development priorities, delays its next content update to Q1 2025

Take whatever expectations you may have harbored for Last Epoch’s next update and toss them out the window because this online ARPG is completely changing its plans based on recent player feedback (and the upcoming Diablo IV expansion, the devs hint).

Last Epoch’s team said that it’s shifting most of the content that was planned for this fall’s Patch 1.2 into a “large, rescoped patch” for the first quarter of next year. This is being done in favor of creating a different Patch 1.2 that will address “expanded end-game content, better onboarding for new players, dungeon improvements, continued performance optimizations, and, of course, more balance and variety.”

Meanwhile, the game’s Imperial Uprising “cycle refresh” event kicks off on September 19th with new event modifiers, shrine types, and Loot Lizards. Can never have too many of ’em lizards, we say.
