City of Heroes Homecoming’s community is holding a player base real estate auction this weekend

Would you like to own a player base in City of Heroes: Homecoming but can’t be bothered to do all of that pesky furniture and item placement stuff yourself? Then you’ll probably want to know about a player-run event that’s happening on Sunday, September 15th, which is when elite architects and real estate brokers of Paragon City will hold a second annual in-game real estate auction.

This upcoming opportunity at quick and easy base ownership will feature 15 different bases up for auction, all of which are promising to accommodate a variety of styles, themes, and budget. The event will allow only those who have never attended or bought a base from the show runners before to put in bids, while there will be several traditional auctions, giveaways, and raffles.

The auction will be held on the Everlasting server starting at 8:00 p.m. EDT on the appointed date. Base codes to let players tour the featured homes were shared earlier this week, though players are encouraged to join the event runners’ Discord to get additional pictures and details.

Just make sure you’ve got the inf to spare: As we noted last time, these auctions can be insanely expensive for one-of-a-kind builds.

And just in case you need to see what base builders are capable of in this MMO, MOP’s Bree toured 20 different builds as well as some incredible player-made transport hubs.
