Are you busy this Saturday, December 21st, by any chance? Would you like to help Monsters & Memories try to set its servers on fire? Then you suddenly have plans for that date. It’s even happening in the afternoon so you could go out later that night and do whatever normies do on weekend nights. Video games have led us to believe it looks something like this.
Niche Worlds Cult will be hosting the test on that date at 1:00 p.m. EST with only one East Coast server available for a total of eight hours. The point of the test is to cram as many people into the server as possible to stress test the MMORPG’s netcode and server stability, with the potential for patches or perhaps an early end to the test depending on how things shake out.
This test looks to be completely wide open, with the only requirement for new arrivals being to RSVP via Discord, register an account, and download a patcher, the links to which are all provided in the Discord announcement. Those who have already been in previous stress testing for M&M will also be available, so everyone is encouraged to hop into the bucket.
