Will you be paying for Xbox All Access, Microsoft’s latest Xbox sub?

Would you – or do you already – pay a sub for a console? Microsoft is banking on it, doubling down on its existing Xbox system: Yesterday the megacorp revealed Xbox All Access, a new sub service that basically combines the Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold subs with a sub for the actual device. It’s a bit like a phone contract: Pay your $22/$35 monthly fee for two years, get access to 100-odd games, and get your Xbox – which remains yours at the end of it all.

“For no upfront cost and one low monthly price for 24 months^, Xbox All Access gets you a new Xbox One S or Xbox One X, access to more than 100 great games through Xbox Game Pass, and online multiplayer with Xbox Live Gold. That’s more than 100 all-you-can-play games—including highly-anticipated new Xbox One exclusives the day they’re released, plus more games added all the time— the fastest, most reliable gaming network and an Xbox One console.”

Xbox One aficionados have already pointed out that the Xbox One S deal is the better one, saving you $130 or so over the two years, assuming the console price doesn’t change at all in that time period, which may not be a great bet here in 2018. Is this appealing to you folks as MMORPGs whatsoever?
