MMO Blood Rites makes its way to Western shores (again)

If your MMORPG diet is hankering for another free-to-play import set in a fantasy setting, then you’re in luck: Blood Rites has arrived in the west, although apparently not for the first time, as it seems to have launched at least once before in 2011 via developer Syncopate (this new version appears to be published by BIG MMO Game Network Limited, which runs a couple of other smaller-scale MMOs). Admittedly, this game eluded our notice with its more recent April 1st arrival, but here it is a month later and still chugging along and even celebrating the fact.

Blood Rites describes itself as a “challenging yet beautiful” world where “fearless and romantic souls” will thrive. The MMO features four starter archetypes that can be molded into new classes at level 20 along with 80 levels’ worth of content. It also features arena battles and guild wars, a “dynamic” spell casting system, and even divine helpers who will join you in battle.

If you’re curious to find out a bit more on how it all works, there’s a beginner’s guide that walks you through every stage of your avatar’s life from level 1 to 80, or you could just simply have a gander at the website.
