Time Warpers is a multiplayer FPS sequel of the ‘incremental’ idle game Time Clickers

The MMO and multiplayer game genres never seem to stop surprising me. For instance, I was not necessarily aware of the “incremental game” sub-genre, which sounds a bit like simply surviving waves of enemies and growing stronger, kind of like Risk of Rain 2. With that in mind, allow us to introduce you to Time Warpers, a multiplayer version of the single player incremental idle game Time Clickers.

In Time Warpers, players are tasked with blowing away enemies in thousands of zones spread across multiple unique planets, growing infinitely stronger along the way via investing Time Cubes into Research and upgrading Perks from common all the way up to legendary. The game has an active mode as well as an automated mode that lets players hop on to their hoverbike and automatically wipe out enemies while they’re AFK. Play sessions can be played either in private, co-op, or multiplayer.

The game has seen a number of features added including Timeline Cards that confer bonuses, the Overpowered mechanic that ramps up damage, movement, and hoverbike speed when characters get over certain level milestones in a zone (meaning, critically, you can be massively overpowered), and the ability to call in air strikes. On top of that, the shooter is having a Christmas event with spawning presents, holiday outfits, and Christmas missions.

For those who are looking for a little mindless fun blowing up enemies in a colorful cuboid world by themselves or with their friends, Time Warpers may just be that little something you need. And the game is 50% off on Steam until December 15th.
