Overwatch is very keen on letting people know that there’s a new deathmatch map added to the game. Just in case it slipped anyone’s notice, the new Kanezaka map has been released and players can take part in a couple of special events to mark its arrival. Because we’re celebrating map launches now I guess.

Between now and January 25th, players can take the Kanezaka Challenge, which rewards icons, sprays, and an epic Hanzo skin for winning matches or watching Overwatch livestreams via Twitch Drops. In addition, the Overwatch League will be hosting a Kanezaka Community Tournament between January 22nd and 25th, featuring 4v4 team deathmatch competition for part of a $10,000 prize pool for each region. This tournament is open to anyone, with registration available from January 15th through the 21st.

In other Overwatch news, the fourth issue of the five-issue Tracer — London Calling digital comic book from Dark Horse Comics is now available for fans to read. Just in case you’re not really interested in deathmatch maps.
