It’s either an exciting or cataclysmic (or both!) week for the Overwatch community. As planned, this week Blizzard shut down the team shooter in favor of bringing Overwatch 2 online the next day. While the game purportedly offers more options, characters, and even a free-to-play model, it’s also a big shift that an entire community has to adjust to all at once.
While I don’t have any dog in this fight, having never played the original, I would love to hear from those of you who are making this transition from Overwatch 1 to Overwatch 2. How do you feel about it? What’s got you excited, and what has made you frustrated or dismayed?
