Nope!

Imagine, for a moment, that you worked in this ridiculous journalistic field and were offered a chance at an early playtest for EverQuest Next. But it involves traveling at a not-great time for you, and you figure hey, no rush, you’ll have a chance to play the game again, right? And then two months later the game is officially cancelled, and you realize only too late that this was your one chance to play the game and now it’s gone forever.

This did not, in fact, happen to me or anyone else here that I’m aware of. But sometimes you do miss a last convention for a game you enjoy and figure that you’ll attend the next one, except the next one never happens. Last moments only become last moments in retrospect. So are there any MMO events you wish you had attended? Things that feel like they would have been very important to you if you had been there, but you weren’t, so you can only regret?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
