Enshrouded might be familiar to survival sandbox vets, but it’s also possible that some of its systems are unique to those players, or that this is some gamers’ first survivalbox rodeo. Whatever the case may be, developer Keen Games is here to help with a video guide full of beginner’s tips.
The video hits on some of the more important points of the game, including how to level up, the benefits of exploring the world to both clear the fog of war and find hints about POIs, the different kinds of gear and NPCs who can provide tailored build equipment, how to find specific materials, and the effects of the flame altar on both the player character and the deadly shroud that envelops parts of the world.
The tips in question might seem pretty basic on the face of things, but even regular players might come away with some knowledge (for example the color of a tree’s leaves determines how much resin it drops).
