Skull and Bones adds spooky new ship fights in its latest Halloween-themed event

If you’re trying to merge piratical adventure with Halloween, one of the best (and arguably most used) ways to do it is to add spooky ships to the ocean. That’s precisely what players started facing last week in Skull and Bones with the Requiem of the Lost event, which brings haunting new foes to fight on the game’s open seas.

During this event, players will be tasked with finding and defeating lost roamer ships every in-game night. Once enough of these ghastly boats have been sunk, the boss fight against the elite Reaper of the Lost will spawn. Participating in the event awards currencies known as reaper’s tolls that can be spent on a wide assortment of thematic cosmetics and weapons.

The event has received a couple of patches that adjusted the health and currency drops of the boss ship as well as improved their shield regeneration, and some follow-up notes further point out that lost roamer ships won’t spawn in an area where a convoy is moving through; in that case, players are advised to move to a different part of the map to complete the thematic contract. All of the Halloween ship-sinking fun is available until November 18th, so there’s still some time to blow up spooky sea vessels.
