Dark Age of Camelot patched to 1.118 today

Dark Age of Camelot got a new patch today. Version 1.118 allows players to form groups quicker thanks to some tweaks to the casual group finder system. The update also reduced the difficulty of Darkness Falls mobs, fixed New Frontiers pathing, and added new character stat caps.

Broadsword also posted a short notice regarding an update to DAoC’s character and guild search functionality.

When can we expect Camelot Unchained, Q3 or Q4 of 2016?

Xvim Given a quick look at the game’s patch history webpage it seems they started out with version 1.35, but they also occasionally increment the patch number by just putting a letter at the end. So it’s not as simple as 118-35=total patches. Still, that’s a decent amount of patching over the years.

Karl_Hungus 118 patches in 14 years would average 8.4 patches per year….I’m guessing the expansions were merely listed as a patch number instead of increasing the base.

I wanted crafting completely redone.I got tired of the slow pace of game improvement and now play THE WITCHER 3…..if I play any game at all.

Awesome that DAoC is still going and has a player base when so many games have now gone. Keep RvR’ing DAoC!

Oyjord A DAoC would cost millions, EA isn’t going to spend that kind of money when they can just keep supporting this one.
