The luna moth (Actias luna) is a moth with a wingspan of up to 4.5 inches, making it one of the largest moths found in North America. It is part of the family Saturniidae, subfamily Saturniinae. They live up to seven days and product one generation of offspring per year. They are notable both for their size and their distinct green coloration and are commonly found east of the Great Plains. Larval moths have a variety of diets based upon their home regions.
Luna moths have never once served on the Supreme Court of the United States of America, nor have any of them attempted to fist-fight the president. Due to their short lifespan, they have been called “the airplanes that are on fire and also crashing of the insect air world” by a variety of insane individuals with names like Simon. Simon lives in northeastern Rhode Island and perpetually smells like rotten cheese. He did not contribute to What Are You Playing, which may be found below.
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): In Japan, it’s phone games, mobile console games, home console games, arcade games, PC games. Therefore, as part of my cultural exploration, I’ll be playing Hyrule Warriors: Legends while I’m on trains and some Hearthstone if I can find time. Er, even if both will be in English…
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Definitely Black Desert – I need more time in there to push past the crud and get to the weird sandbox stuff I am there for. Beyond that, I’m not sure. Grim Dawn is still waiting for me!
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): I’ve been working on a project that’s game-related a lot over the past week, but I’m not ready to talk about it in any depth; I know that I’ll find some time with Final Fantasy XIV and the World of Warcraft: Legion alpha, though.
Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): With the double AP event going on in The Secret World, I’m totally on fire to finish up Scorched Desert on my leveling character and flesh out her build some more. Maybe I can even get the chainsaw? A boy can dream…
Larry Everett (@Shaddoe, blog): Although my games for this weekend will not be that diverse, I will be helping my Star Wars: The Old Republic roleplaying guild with some conquest stuff so that we can open up the command deck on the flagship, and the Thieves Guild is still calling me in The Elder Scrolls Online. I’m starting to feel bad because the easy thieving targets for pickpocketing seem to be street performers, and I know they don’t make much money. But my kleptomania needs to be satiated!
MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): I won’t have nearly as much game time because of the holiday, but I do have Black Desert, Path of Exile, ARK: Survival Evolved, and even some ArcheAge all on tap. I might even finally decide on a race so I can finally remake my Neverwinter Cleric, but that might be pushing it!
Your turn!
