Worlds Adrift is laying on the ground amid a carpet of cash and making money angels today as Bossa Studios has received an injection of $1.35 million to make the game. That is a lot of space whales right there.

The funding comes as an investment from London Venture Partners, a venture capital firm. The $1.35 million will go to speed up the development of Worlds Adrift and expand Bossa Studios’ operations. The deal also made mention of other multiplayer and VR projects that Bossa might be developing.

London Venture Partners had high words of praise for the developers and Bossa Studios’ potential: “It’s no surprise that their latest project, Worlds Adrift, is their most ambitious yet and the one capable of completely transforming how we experience multiplayer gaming.”
