It’s not a shocking revelation on my part to say that it takes a lot for me to work up the interest to play a bestial or monster-type race in an MMO (if one is offered at all). I have a suspicion that this is the case with many players. For me, it’s usually the larger sizes, weird armor fitting, and the thought that this ugly backside is what I might be staring at for a hundred hours or more.
But another reason why I usually pass on monster races is that the interesting ones don’t seem to make the cut. Forget Orcs, what about Ogres? Or how about the under-the-bridge variety of Trolls? Or what about an IRS auditor? There are so many options out there, particularly in the more creative MMOs.
