Riders of Icarus will allow players to trade cash shop items on the AH

Riders of Icarus’ economy is about to experience a seismic change with the next update, as the game will allow for the resale of some cash shop items to other players in the game for gold. This means that a player can turn real money into in-game gold, a process that is never without, ahem, heated discussion.

Nexon explained the change: “NX Plus is a new section of Ellora’s Shop that’s coming in the next update. Riders can buy items within the NX Plus tab with NX Prepaid and those items are tradable or can be sold on the Auction House!  This new feature will allow more Riders access to more items from Ellora’s Shop.”

The entire store will not feature resellable items; rather, the NX Plus section will see a rotation of items pass through it, offering a limited selection at any given time. “Mounts, familiar skins, lucky boxes, and more are all being evaluated for the NX Plus shop tab,” the studio said.
