Dogma: Eternal Night gets persistent demo build up and running

A small but functional demo build for Dogma: Eternal Night is up and running, laying the foundation for greater things to come in the supernatural MMO.

In a brief holiday post, the team reported that the demo client is functional, allowing users to experience a very limited peek into the game (specifically, the character creator). The demo is only capable of handling up to 100 players but does have the ability to save characters.

“In the next few months, we will be working on slowly transforming [the demo] into [an] alpha- and later on, beta-client,” the team said. “Our main goal will be getting the project to a level at which it finally becomes playable. We plan to add first city locations before spring, and after that, we can finally work on full-scale interaction between these locations. We chose this step-by-step approach because we want to polish each element without any unnecessary distractions.”
