Sea of Thieves is saying farewell to Forsaken Shores and hello to the Festival of the Damned today, just barely in time for the Halloween tonight. In addition to gobs of themed buyables, there’s the Flames of Fate to contend with.
“On the Ferry of the Damned, the Well of Fate has been revealed. It produces a different coloured light depending on the way your pirate has perished. Use your lantern to capture the flame so you can take it back to the land of the living.”
The patch also includes new customization options (makeup!), perilous lightning strikes, rowbot fixes, and a slew of performance improvements. “Oars no longer appear to disconnect from the Rowboat when rowing” and “Rowboats now correctly collide with the Kraken tentacles.” Wait, there’s a correct way to collide with Kraken tentacles?
