Fortnite’s new mobile Party Hub feature lets you chat and play battle royale with friends

Dropping in with friends has gotten a whole lot simpler in Fortnite’s battle royale mode with the most recent update. v10.31 has introduced a new mobile Party Hub feature for Fortnite, making it easier to chat with or play with people on your friends list.

At its core, the Party Hub will let players see which friends are online, start a party, voice chat, and arrive in-game with that party from any platform including mobile. An FAQ also mentions that you can still voice chat with friends who are playing even if you’re not with them, and even lets you transfer voice chat from PC or console to mobile. Players can also invite their friends to their party by ringing Llama Bells (of course), though mercifully there’s a limit to how many times a person’s Llama Bell can be rung.

The update is mostly about the Party Hub for Battle Royale, but the patch notes also detail some updates for Save the World that include the second part of Cloaked Star’s journey to the Radio Station and a new Deciblaster weapon that pierces enemies with a bouncing wave of sound.
