Camelot Unchained is very much focused on its new musically-minded support classes as the past few weekly updates have been a testament. This week’s wrap-up is no different, with some more art and development done for the game’s Minstrel, Dark Fool, and Skald among other updates.

This past weekend’s testing saw players get their hands all over the Minstrel in-game to see how it operates and also saw the first inclusion of beta 2 backers. [Clarification here: This wasn’t the first inclusion of beta 2 backers! They’ve been in previous weekends too. Extra clarification: This does not portend beta 2.] Behind the curtain, work on the Minstrel continues with a particular focus on the use of a Panic stat. This stat is exploitable by Camelot Unchained’s support classes once it reaches a certain threshold, letting them do things like down target movement or prevent certain kinds of abilities from being used. In addition to inciting Panic in foes, support classes also got their siege abilities and the Dark Fool and Skald got their Banes and Boons.

Other development updates involve focusing in on a performance issue when dealing with a high number of NPCs, the creation of a new installer, and a number of critical updates to the chat server. As always, full details can be found at the website and in the video embed below. You all know the drill.
