Funcom apparently got up this morning and said, you know what, let’s tease a thing. There’s a ticker counting down on Conan Exiles’ official site right now with a promise of an “announcement” coming in six days along with “teaser images regarding the announcement [coming] daily” in the meantime. The tweet is ominous too:
“Dark clouds on the horizon. Whispers of chaos and a demonic storm. And in the vortex, The Black Tower seeks to dominate all life. Be prepared.”
It’s worth a reminder here that Funcom’s investor report in February hinted at a “paid expansion” for its Conan survivalbox in the latter half of 2020. Let the speculation begin.
