The Daily Grind: Do you stop to watch player performances in MMOs?

Especially when you have limited time to game, it’s hard to ignore that “go go go!” voice in your head that urges you to make every minute count toward your player progression. Yet it’s also important to stop and smell the roses (1/10 smelled) when the opportunity presents.

I try to do this anytime I see players up to something creative or entertaining. If I’m jogging through a city and see a band performing their heart out, I know I won’t regret stepping on the brakes to check it out — and be a mite bit social, as well.

If you see a bit of roleplaying, a concert, or even an enthusiastic reading of Shel Silverstein’s “Hug O’ War” in your MMO worlds, do you tend to stop or keep on zipping past?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
