The Daily Grind: Which MMO is best if you want to get in the zone and grind on mobs?

I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I sit down to play at the end of a long day, I’m not looking for high-octane, big-brained interaction with my games. For the times when I want to shut off my brain, put on some music, and get in a zone, I’ll simply look for a good camp in an MMO and start farming mobs.

And this is quite relaxing in a popping-bubble-wrap kind of way. There’s a comfort to getting into a rhythm and a satisfaction to earning XP and gear along the way. One of the MMORPGs in which I really like doing this is — believe it or not — New World. Give me a fun camp littered with treasure chests and mobs, and I’ll wade through that happily over the next hour.

If you’re looking for a full, satisfying experience of grinding on mobs, which MMO offers the best overall package to hit that right spot for you?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
