The Daily Grind: How do you best express yourself in an MMO?

Even though MMOs are virtual worlds, the people who interact with them are (reportedly) quite authentic. And as it is in the real world, people like to put themselves out there in online games. You don’t want to be just another face in the crowd; there’s that inner desire to express yourself and showcase your personality and preferences.

The question is, how do you best do that in these games?

Is it through the careful selection of your name and title? The way you present yourself to your guild and to passers-by? Through your fashion selections and loyal vanity pets? Or in the exuberant decoration of your online house?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
