New World Q&A teases: ‘There’s a lot coming in 2024’

Putting a nice fat festive bow on this past year is New World’s dev team, which came out for a final community Q&A video for 2023. Topics covered including explanations for Season 4’s buggy rollout, controller lock-on for PvP, cross-world arenas, chromatic seals, and promises that PvP and PvE would both get due consideration next year.

A couple of the more pointed questions were aimed at the lack of new content mentioned in the recent partial roadmap for February through March. Amazon defended what it is bringing to the table in the next few months, saying, “The team is working its tail off.”

The team was cagey but upbeat about upcoming plans for New World until a fuller reveal next May, only saying, “It’s going to be a lot. I can’t tell you how excited we are right now. There’s a lot coming in 2024.”
