As Monsters & Memories’ dev team stirs from its eggnog-induced holiday slumber, memories of what this fledgling MMO project did in the past couple months surfaced for the telling. Niche Worlds Cult put out its first post of the year, recapping the progress made in November and December.

The studio said that it hired on a new game designer from the community, added a lot of character model art, continued to refine the Night Market, and made shading improvements.

Niche Worlds Cult also hinted at new biomes to be revealed in 2024, teasing an image of a small hut set against a giant conifer forest. The studio said that it’s preparing a report on the recent stress tests in the latter months of 2023 to share with the community.

Monsters & Memories won our 2023 reader poll for the most anticipated upcoming MMORPG.
