Readers might remember that back in 2019, NCsoft launched its own games platform known as Purple, which lets players enjoy the studio’s mobile games on PC along with features like streaming support, key configuration, an integrated text and voice chat, and the option to link multiple mobile accounts to the same desktop.

It looks as if the Purple platform’s features are expanding here in our portion of the globe, as NC America has announced several feature updates and (most importantly) plans to move more of its MMORPGs to the launcher, specifically Blade & Soul, Lineage II, and Aion.

All three announcements share the same message that talks up the Purple platform’s aforementioned features along with an in-launcher store to purchase items and currencies for NCsoft’s titles, integrated notifications, a Purple Lounge that lets communities form together, and an in-app multiboxing functionality for certain titles. As for when the three MMOs will make the move to Purple, all that’s known is that it’s happening soonâ„¢.
