As Lord of the Rings Online barrels toward both Update 41 and two new legendary servers in July, the Middle-earth MMO is scrambling to shore up the summer patch with more additions and testing.

The second round of Bullroarer testing for Update 41 is underway with many changes and additions to the “Hard Tack of Thorin’s Hall” cooperative crafting event and the bounty system being added to the Ettenmoors PvP zone. While the new Birding hobby is still under wraps while Standing Stone Games finishes the visuals, players can enjoy improved NPC pathing, more Umbar metalsmith recipes, and the Lore-master healing skill moved from level 72 down to 32.

Meanwhile, LOTRO’s system designer said that a lot of revisions are being done to the Hunter class overhaul behind the scenes: “Though we’re not ready to talk about future hunter changes yet, our plans have evolved somewhat from the outline at the beginning of this [forum] thread. When we’re closer to Hunter changes down the road, there will be a new thread with an updated outline.”
