Most of us know quite well the phenomenon of how beloved MMOs get so deeply entrenched in our psyche that we end up leaving and returning to them over and over again. This may even be a healthy thing, to take breaks from these ongoing game experiences so that you can return to them refreshed.
But I’ve noticed that after over two decades playing, some of those frequent revisits became… less frequent. And then, given enough time, no visits at all.
