The Daily Grind: What life lesson did you learn from MMOs the hard way?

I know MMOs don’t exist to teach us life lessons, but they definitely have the opportunity to do so, whether we want them to or not. For example, I learned that absolutely zero MMOs or people in MMOs are worth skipping class for! Sounds obvious, but a lot of folks get to college and have to learn that the hard way, not just the “go to class, dumbass” part but the “most of these folks don’t care if you flunk as long as you heal their raid, so maybe it’s not that important that they like you at the expense of your education, self!”
