Last week, Amazon restarted its video series for New World, with a heavy emphasis on acclimating new and returning players to the upcoming Aeternum. The studio has promised 34 total episodes running through December, which means two per week – and the first one for the week we’re in dropped this afternoon.
Episode 3 is called Territories, and Grace O’Malley is back to essentially introduce the game world to players. She talks up the game’s various biomes, its most dangerous corners, its gorgeous cities, and even its architectural wonders. It’s actually a stark reminder just how beautiful and lush this gameworld is to anyone who’s worried about its future – and what a loss it would be for the MMORPG genre if Aeternum doesn’t take off.
