Monsters and Memories fans are getting another chance to both peek into the throwback MMORPG and offer up their testing services, as Niche Worlds Cult is running a stress test tomorrow on August 31st.
“We want to test our netcode, which should be highly optimized compared to the previous Stress Tests!” the devs say. “We’ll all cram into one server to start the test. After we get the data we need, we will open up the rest of the servers for an extended playtest. The sooner we get the data we need, the sooner the other servers will come up, so please participate in the Stress Test phase!”
The Discord message reminds players that it’s a technical stress test and that stuff will naturally be broken, so don’t expect a finished product. The studio also notes that some of the past servers have been merged into new ones. You’ll need to create an account or just log into your old one and it should get you in.
The event begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday the 31st. Solid way to cap off the summer!
