One of my early favorite movies was Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, so I guess you can say that I’ve long been a fan of rampant silliness in my entertainment. While some things in life should be taken seriously, gaming is not one of them (at least to me!) and so I welcome the silly and absurd into my online spaces as long as they totally don’t break the world.
Depending on your MMO, there may be higher or lower amounts of unchecked silliness, but chances are that it appears from time to time thanks to cheeky developers and giggling players. So how do you react to this? Do you enjoy, tolerate, or resent silliness in your online gaming?
