Online gacha RPG Tower of Fantasy aims to start this year with a literal blast of content when its 4.6 update comes out later this month. Forging a New World is scheduled to arrive on January 21st with the next chapter of this game’s story, and apparently there’s an atomic explosion involved.
In addition to the apocalyptic narrative and new areas to explore, there’s the latest playable character to collect: Nemesis Voidpiercer.
“We failed to prevent the disaster before but if we have one chance only, we will do our best. Even if we cannot change the past, we can change the future,” the trailer said.
Tower of Fantasy has another momentous occasion lurking in its future, as global publishing duties for the title will transfer over to Perfect World on February 25th.
Worth noting here is that the teaser video emphasizes the game as a “shared open world MMORPG.”
