For an entire generation of kids and gamers, Minecraft has become one of the most beloved, played, and franchised titles in history. So yes, it’s pretty big news when the original (and controversial) creator of this game – which was long since bought out by the likes of Microsoft and turned into a colossal franchise – makes noise that he might be working on a sequel, as we reported earlier this month.
“I basically announced Minecraft 2,” Tweeted Markus “Notch” Persson at the top of the year. “I don’t super duper care exactly which game I make first (or even if I make more), but I do know I’m making one, so I figured I’d absolutely be willing to give it an honest shot in the form of a spiritual successor to Minecraft and put up a poll about it.”
However, after taking a poll from fans as to which project they wanted him to pursue, Notch says he’s changing course; now he’s announced that his studio BitShift Entertaining is working on a dungeon roguelike called Levers and Chests. And hey, look at that, this whole switcharoo got him some attention for his new game.
As for Minecraft 2, Persson said, “You’ll have to ask Microsoft about that one.”
Talked to the fellas at the office. Looks like we're making Levers and Chests!
Tipping point was PC Gamer saying it seemed interesting, lol. Yeah I still love PC Gamer.

Time's pausing when not providing inputs, and ramping up speed the more queued commands you input so you can just spam actions without having to wait for the animations to finish, or click slowly to enjoy the animations.
